Located along the 24 km stretch of the former railway line that served western Liguria from 1872 to 2001.

24 km through western Liguria

Thanks to the beauty of the places it passed through, it was a luxury line, which between the end of the 19th century and the 1930s transported Italian nobles and landowners, as well as English, German and Russian visitors who came to stay on the Riviera.

Since 2004, this enchanting route has been restored and enhanced, giving the community a people-friendly space in the heart of the Riviera.

Not just a cycle path… but a true experience

Located on the 24 km of the former railway line that served western Liguria from 1872 to 2001, this route was once a luxury railway, carrying nobles, landowners and international visitors—from England, Germany and Russia—who spent their holidays on the Riviera. Today, it offers a unique way to experience the territory.

Fitness

The parco costiero is designed not only for cycling but also for a variety of safe sports activities, such as jogging, skating and hand-biking.

Equipped areas

In Santo Stefano al Mare and Bussana, there are also areas equipped for team sports, and along the entire route it is possible to hire bicycles and equipment for sports and leisure activities.

Relax

The cycle path is not only for sport enthusiasts. With dozens of rest areas, green spaces and five refreshment points, it is also an excellent place to relax—whether for a walk, reading a book, or simply enjoying the views and the Riviera’s mild climate.

Tourism

The cycle path is ideal for discovering the Riviera dei Fiori in a new and engaging way. The route starts in Ospedaletti, passes through Sanremo, Arma di Taggia, Riva Ligure and Santo Stefano, and ends in San Lorenzo al Mare.

Nature

The parco costiero does not only cross urban areas; long stretches run directly along the coastline, surrounded by the sea and rich Mediterranean vegetation which, thanks to the mild climate, is among the most diverse in Europe.

The Riviera dei Fiori Coastal Park has been designed and built to be welcoming and enjoyable for people of all ages.

In addition to those who want to play sports, the park is ideal for mothers with small children and the elderly. The numerous entrances allow easy access even for people with disabilities.

Museo del Relitto Romano

AMAIE Energia e Servizi owns a museum system dedicated to the Roman wreck of Santo Stefano al Mare, the MURR: the Museum of the Roman Wreck; an exhibition and educational space that aims to be an innovative museum, capable of going beyond the traditional concept of displaying artefacts.
